Hacked Grape Vines, No EP required.
Place the plant in your garden, water and when it blooms, you can harvest or propagate the plant (to make a new plant).
Those with The Sims and no EP or EPs only before Hot Date will be able to sell their crop harvest: Sims with a high interest in the Outdoors will make more money from the harvest. Those with HD or higher installed can choose to sell the harvest or keep it in inventory. Fruit put in the inventory can be given as gifts ('Fresh Produce' will appear in the interaction menu) or the grapes can be used to make grape jam in our special hacked canning station. NO EP Required
Note: these plants do not replace the Makin' Magic grapes and berries, and cannot be used in the nectar press or baker's oven Please read instructions for installation.
The Vineyard Bakery's Grape Jam preserves station (HD) requires that your Sim have grapes harvested from our hacked grape vine to use.
Your Sim can make more money from her harvest if she makes and sells Grape Jam than just selling the raw fruit (very poor cooks will find they do better simply selling the fresh grapes). Your Sim earns more money from selling the jam if she has a high interest in Food and, like the Maxis canning station, she earns more if she has high cooking skills. As with traditional canning stations she'll earn cooking skill while canning. The grape jam can also be stored in inventory to be given as a gift. HD is Required
